Q: What are your business hours?
A: We are available to take calls and messages Monday - Saturday 9am to 5pm Eastern Time (US).
Q: Do you have a store I can visit?
A: No, we do not have a physical store, though we do have local pickups available for customers living close by.
Q: What types of wood do you use?
A: We use many different types, including apple, red cedar, hickory, ash, cherry, maple, mulberry, red oak, white oak, osage orange (hedgeapple), poplar, sassafras, sycamore, walnut, and a few other species if we happen to get them.
Q: Is Pugsley Craft an eco-friendly company?
A: There has never been a tree cut down directly for our business use. All of our wood comes from surplus stock out of 100% sustainable sources.
Q: Are all of your products food safe?
A: All bowls, platters, cutting boards, and jewelry have been finished with Pugsley Craft Board Butter, which is 100% food safe. Other items have a non-toxic finish for high durability. The item’s description will include the finish that has been used for that specific product.
Q: Do you take special orders?
A: Yes, absolutely! If you have a custom project in mind, reach out to us for a quote. We will be happy to assist you.
Q: I have a Pugsley Craft item, and I would like to reorder a second. Can you make these identical?
A: No two pieces are the exact same, since each item is hand made. We can take a look and make another to match very closely. (You might not even be able to tell the difference).
